The very basics are elaborated in this book. It is a fragile and swift method that does not cost you very expensive or sophisticated gadgets for the preparation. You can start preparing any metal oxide nano particles with just an electric stove, beaker and very few chemicals: a metal nitrate and a fuel (urea, glycine, etc.,). This book also introduce zirconia as a potential photoluminescence material and also as a thermoluminescence dosimetric material.
