To date, there is no any previous study talking about the relationship between magnetisation transfer imaging and fatigue. However, this study was examined this relationship for the first time and it is concluded as follows. Demyelination is considered to be a core pathological feature of fatigue. Magnetisation transfer imaging (MTI) has been widely used to provide an accurate identification of brain injuries including axonal loss and demyelination. In particular, Magnetisation Transfer Ratio (MTR), which is considered an important imaging technique in MTI, has been used to evaluate demyelination. In this study, we aimed to investigate the relationships between MTR and fatigue or fatigue-related variables.
