Many patients with Dentofacial deformities can benefit from corrective orthognathic surgery. The specific therapeutic goals vary from patient to patient. These goals are directed towards correction of specific musculoskeletal, dento osseous, and soft tissue deformities. Several factors, presenting either collectively or individually, may indicate the need for orthognathic surgery. Proper patient selection remains the primary factor in successful treatment outcome.
