Autoren-Porträt
Ciler Hatipoglu holds a PhD from UWE, Bristol. She has published extensively in areas such as metadiscourse in academic writing, corpus linguistics, pragmatics, cross-cultural communication, and language and gender. She is a member of the team that developed the first Spoken Turkish Corpus in Turkey.Erdem Akbas holds a PhD from the University of York and has presented his research extensively at various reputable international conferences. He has published articles in national and international journals/books.
Yasemin Bayyurt is a professor of Applied Linguistics at Bogaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey. Her current research focuses on English as a Lingua Franca (ELF)/World Englishes (WEs), mobile/blended learning, intercultural communication, and metadiscourse in academic writing.
