He has delivered more than 80 invited talks/ lectures in conference/symposium and also served as Mentor for DST-INSPIRE Science internship camp and Inspire-awards. Presently he is working on Plant specific transcription factor-DOF (DNA binding with One finger) and Nuclear Factor-Y (NF-Y) for developing biotic and abiotic stress tolerance crops and pectinases group of enzymes with potential applications in different industries. Currently, he is working as post-doctoral researcher in Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR-IITR), Lucknow, India. He has completed his PhD (2018) in the area of Microbiology from Department of Environmental Microbiology at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Doctorate work was mainly focused on role of ligninolytic enzyme producing bacterial strains in the decolorizing & degradation of coloring compounds from distillery wastewater. Main research areas are Microbial Biotechnology, Biodegradation and Bioremediation of Environmental contaminants in Industrial wastewaters, Metagenomics and Lignocellulosic waste valorisation. Edited eight International and two authored books. Published more than 60 research/review papers in National and International peer reviewed journals of high impact factor published by Springer, Elsevier, Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Taylor & Francis Group and Frontiers. Published many National and international book chapters and magazine articles on the biodegradation and bioremediation of the environmental pollutants. Presented many posters/papers relevant to research areas in National and International con¬ferences. Actively work as potential reviewer in various SCI-journals published from reputed international publishers (Springer, Elsevier, Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Taylor & Francis Group, Wiley and Frontiers). Life member of the ?Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI)?, and ?Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) Kolkata, India?. Dr. Gautam Anand is post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Plant Pathology and Weed Research, Agricultural Research Organization (ARO) - The Volcani Center, Israel. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, India. He was selected for ARO Post Doctoral Fellowship, Israel for the year 2020-21 and Valazzy Pikovsky Fellowship for postdoctoral research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel for 2018-19. He has also worked as post- doctoral fellow at Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. He has worked extensively on plant- fungus interactions. His main area of research is characterizing the importance of trafficking pathways in fungal virulence, using deletion mutagenesis and cell biology techniques. Dr. Anand has also worked on fungal pectinases, particularly polygalacturonases and pectin lyases. He has published in 21 research articles and 12 book chapters. Prof. Dr. Rajarshi Kumar Gaur earned Ph.D. in 2005, now Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Deen Daya lUpadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. His Ph.D. was on molecular characterization of sugarcane viruses, viz., mosaic, streak mosaic and yellow luteovirus. He received MASHAV fellowship of Israel government for his post-doctoral studies and joined The Volcani Centre, Israel and BenGurion University, Negev, Israel. In 2007 he received the Visiting Scientist Fellowship from Swedish Institute Fellowship, Sweden to work in the Umea University, Umea, Sweden. Received Post-Doctoral Fellowship from ICGEB, Italy in 2008. He has made significant contributions on sugarcane viruses and published 130 national/international papers, authored 17 edited books and presented near about 50 papers in the national and international conferences. He is honored Fellow of Linnean Society, Fellow of Royal society of Biology, Fellow of Society of Plant Research, Fellow of Society of Applied Biology (FSAB), Fellow of International Society of Biotechnology (FISBT). He has bagged many awards like, Prof. B.M. Johri memorial Award, Society of Plant Research (SPR), Excellent Teaching Award by Astha Foundation, Meerut, UGC-Research Teacher Award, Young Scientist Award-2012 in Biotechnology by Society of Plant Research (SPR), Meerut, Scientific& Applied Research Centre Gold Medal Award-2011 for outstanding contribution in the field of Biotechnology. He has visited several laboratories of USA, Canada, New Zealand, UK, Thailand, Sweden, Italy. Currently, he is handling many national & international grants and international collaborative projects on plant viruses and disease management.
