This prevalence of infection of Eimeria spp in sheep, The effect of sex and age on infection rate, the morphological characterization of Eimeria spp, molecular detection of some Eimeria isolates by PCR with DNA sequencing, during the period from the 1st January 2017 extend to end of 31st December 2017 in Wasit province at Al-Kut, Al-Hayya, Badraa and Al-Numaniyah districts that examined 240 sheep with different ages and sexes, which were randomly selected from different urban areas. Eleven species of Eimeria spp. were recorded based on the structure of the oocysts by microscopic examination (E. ovinoidalis, E. crandalis, E. ahsata, E. weybridgensis, E. bakuensis (ovine), E. intricate, E. fuare, E. pallida, E. granulosa, E. parva and E. marsica).
