Autoren-Porträt von Kader Abdolah
Kader Abdolah, geb. 1954 im Iran geboren, studierte Physik in Teheran und war aktiv in der Studentenbewegung. 1988 floh er aus politischen Gründen mit seiner Familie nach Holland, wo er heute in der Nähe von Amsterdam als freier Autor lebt. Der Name Abdolah ist ein Pseudonym, das der Autor aus den Namen zweier ermordeter Freunde gebildet hat. Kader Abdolah zählt zu den bedeutendsten iranischen Exil-Autoren.
