The author: Ike Okonta is an assistant professor and co-ordinator of the philosophy program in the Department of Social Sciences at Winston-Salem State University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He received his B.A. from Urban Univeristy, Rome, Italy, his M.A. from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. He specializes in Social and Political Philosophy, Ethics, Philosophy of Human Nature and Philosophy of Law. His publications include Classical And Contemporary Moral Issues.
