North Sea Living

North Sea Living is an interior book that contains inspiring photo reports on beautiful buildings, vintage design and creative interiors, while also profiling the unique way of life of the people who live at the sea. It contains 15 very different photo reports, made in houses and apartments along the North Sea coastline, from the northern reaches of the Netherlands to the Atlantic Ocean.
Some of the houses: a picturesque house nestling behind the impressive chalk cliffs in Wissant; one of the last authentic Art Deco apartments on the Ostend seafront; a robust wooden house with the transparent feel of a beach cabin, behind the highest dune in the Wadden Islands; a 1961 house built by the architect Peter Callebout in Nieuwpoorts Simli Quarter; a house with a thatched room and immense character in the fashionable Belgian resort of Het Zoute. The 15 reports are extensive, and include fullpage illustrations accompanied by short texts in Dutch, French and English. The book also contains stunning photography spread over two pages showing sea, dunes and beach. The unique design of the book matches the personal style of the creative interiors.
