Motorcycle morbidity and mortality are on the rise with hospitals being forced to allocate special wards to cater for the increasing burden. An understanding of patterns of injury in fatal motorcycle RTIs which may provide added information in the approach to management of patients post-crash and shed some light into the major pre-crash contributing factors.
