Pressezitat
From the book reviews:"This is a concise book about the etiology, management, and orthopaedic surgery of trauma and polytrauma children suffering major injuries. The approach to management is outlined with instrumentation used to stabilize pelvic, limb, and neck fractures looking at complex cases as well as more routine ones. I recommend this book to all orthopedic surgeons and residents. SCIWORA injuries and C spine instability are well addressed in their respective age groups." (Joseph J. Grenier, Amazon.com, October, 2014)
"This is a compact, quick reference on some of the more common orthopedic emergencies children experience. ... It will be most valuable to orthopedic surgeons and residents, but also has value for students doing orthopedic or emergency rotations. ... This is a short, solid, well-presented book on the most common pediatric orthopedic surgical emergencies. It will prove to be a good primer in the emergency department library or for aspiring or early training-level orthopedic residents." (Robert M. Arensman, Doody's Review Service, July, 2012)
