Autoren-Porträt von Vanessa Ewan, Debbie Green
Vanessa Ewan is Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Movement at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, having joined the school in 1989. She is a graduate of the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance and has worked previously as Head of Movement at E15, as well as having taught at Webber Douglas, Guildhall and RADA. Debbie Green trained at the Rambert School of Ballet, London, before a career both as a dancer (at the Stadttheater, Kiel, Germany) and a choreographer for theatre, film and television. Other formal study of dance and movement practices have included Odissi and T'ai-Chi Chuan. She completed her postgraduate studies at Laban prior to and whilst working as a movement teacher at The Actors' Institute; Arts Educational; RADA; Drama Studio; Samuel Beckett Theatre, Dublin; and LAMDA, joining Central School of Speech and Drama's Acting course as a teacher in 1989. There she was responsible for co-designing the unique movement curriculum and co-creating the first ever MA in movement for actors.
