Scientific researchers have also found that after males become female, the male reproductive tissue is urged to persist for a period. During the process of reproduction, the bivalves are very much concern, active and productive! More importantly, the researchers from the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton have found that the reason behind the switching of sexes is to be able to reproduce effectively and efficiently even within cold and extremely cold regions. Nonetheless, in cold regions, the development of these molluscs are meant to slow down. Consequently, the feeding of the larvae turns out to be tiresome and cumbersome as procedure. Further studies have demonstrated that the female molluscs are likely to brood their offsprings for 18 whole months...
