In recent years, academic libraries are facing pressures like shrinking the budget provisions, increasing the patron's demands, limited physical space, preservation inconveniences, raising the costs of the books, periodicals, and publishing industry moving into electronic form. The availability of e- resources to publishers offers large collection of content in one platform. So it has become necessary to compare and evaluate the effective use of print and electronic resources from the users and library point of view. Due to ICT development and the availability of the information resources in print and electronic formats have increased access to the information at an exceptional rate. To know the status and the utilization of print and electronic by IIMs libraries a surveywas conducted.
