History has seen several blackouts due to frequency instability. In past years electromechanical, solid state frequency relays were analyzed. Also the concept of digital frequency relay was introduced. But after distributed generation and the possible is landing issues, frequency relay has again gain the attention of the researchers and industrialists to make that relay fast and more reliable. This Book covers design study and related work of digital frequency relay modelling. This work consists of digital frequency relay modelling and simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK software for generator protection.
