The thrust for alternative renewable sources of liquid transport fuel is driven by factors like global warming and long term availability of fossil-based crude oil. The pressure of the increasing fuel prices, deteriorating global supplies of crude oil and legislation to control pollution has resulted in both for aggressive renewable fuel policies and a quick growth in the emerging bio-fuel industry. Also, on other hand management of waste tyre has become one of the major issues. Hence, in this book the properties analysis of raw tyre pyrolysis oil and its innovative purification technology for its use as engine fuel is presented.

Dnyandeo Wankhade, RatnakiranThe author was born on 21st September, at Akola district in Maharashtra state. He pursued B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) Degree program from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Agriculture University, Akola. Also, completed M.Tech and Ph.D in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology., Pantnagar.
