This book is a chance they will be able to do it in a much easier way. it contains as many as 45 quizzes dealing with British, American and general small 'c' culture which can be used in nay way they would like to. Examplary issues are: warm-up activities, practising writing /speaking-excelling exercises, writing precis passages/notes and many others. As the real authors of most of the tests included in the book were undergraduate and graduate students participating in the term project "Make Your Learners' Classes More Learner-Friendly" the book itself fully illustrates the ideas and/or interests of the would-be teachers and can be a help in long and not-too-boring learner-friendly lessons. Quiz yourself and try to make the learners behold the lessons of English not only brighter but also truly different.

Polok, KrzysztofKrzysztof Polok, PhD, works for the University of Bielsko-Biala, Poland, author of a monograph "When Teaching Matters" and a three-volume book on teaching English through sport "English in Sports" as well as a collection of reading comprehension texts "My Life with Myra". His research interests entail implementing creativity into FLE.
