Autoren-Porträt von William Shakespeare
William Shakespeare was born in 1564, in Stratford upon Avon. This edition of sonnets and poems includes the narrative poems Venus and Adonis and The Rape of Lucrece which established Shakespeare's reputation when they appeared in 1593-4. The short poem, The Phoenix and the Turtle appeared alongside the work of others in Love's Martyr, published in 1601. The Sonnets were published with A Lover's Complaint in 1609. A resident of Delhi, India, NARESH KUMAR describes himself as 'a seeker' who is continuously trying to learn as much as he can, and his art is an expression of his curiosity towards the world. A firm believer in humanity, Naresh brings an experienced hand to the drawing board. His work features in a number of titles from Campfire, which include Robinson Crusoe, A Christmas Carol, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Frankenstein, and Kidnapped.
