This book mainly covers the second part of cable bolt reinforcement, i.e. the shear resistance characteristics, which plays a significant role but is normally ignored by researchers and engineers in the reinforcement scheme design. This book can be used as a supplement to cable bolting technology and thus to improve the accuracy and reliability of rock reinforcement scheme.

Li, XuweiDr. Xuwei Li is currently working at China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) as an assistant researcher. Dr. Li received his doctoral degree with the focus on cable bolting from University of Wollongong in 2016. His interests of research cover areas as many as rock bolting, ground control, coal burst prevention, mine geophysics, etc.
