The book is intended to assist both Foresters and Wood Scientists assess the wood and paper properties of Pinus Caribeae (Morelet) grown in Nigeria as pulp wood meant to obtain long fiber for the pulp and paper industries, especially the relationship between wood density and other properties with age of the plantations. The results obtained showed that the species could still be used as a blend with short fiber pulp for paper production. Investments in pulp and paper industries in Nigeria is recommended since paper consumption in Nigeria is dependent on imports.
