Environment is the sum of all the existing factors and forces, whether biotic or abiotic, and in a larger scale, it includes the totality of the universe of which the planet earth is just a quantum part of. However, there is an unbreakable continuity in the physical and biological laws of nature, wherever to be in the universe. This principle of unity is a link to understand the origin of life and the function of universe in an infinite imagination. The conditions of the environment to which organisms must make adjustment, or which determine the successful life of an organism, or indeed its very presence are referred to as factors. The environmental factors act as selective agents directly or indirectly for all form of life. The sustainable use of biological resources is a pre-requisite for their long-term conservation. Human derive many direct and indirect benefits from the living world. Thus, we have means in conserving biodiversity for the resources we use, for the ecosystem services it provides to us, for the pleasure we derive from living organisms and for ethical reasons.
