Synthesis of modified Poly Ethylene glycol resin for synthesizing peptide template with chemically addressable side chains, functionalizing carbon nano tubes with these peptide template and the designing of peptide-CNT conjugate with a potential bio-medical application etc. are described in detail. Synthesis and purification of Carbon nanotubes is described emphasizing the improvements in the already reported synthetic strategy. A cost effective and clean synthetic strategy is adopted.
