High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Tadeusz Kamil Marcjan ?ele?ski was a Polish gynecologist, writer, poet, critic?above all, translator of over 100 French literary classics into Polish. A notable personality in the Young Poland movement, Boy was the enfant terrible of the Polish literary scene in the first half of the 20th century. Tadeusz Kamil Marcjan ?ele?ski was born December 21, 1874, in Warsaw, to Wanda, née Grabowska, and W?adys?aw ?ele?ski, a prominent composer and musician. A cousin of Tadeusz's was the notable Polish poet Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer. Since Warsaw was then under Russian rule, and education in Polish was forbidden, in 1892 ?ele?ski left for Kraków, in Austrian-ruled Galicia, where he enrolled at the Jagiellonian University medical school in Krakow.
