Emmanuel-Jones, WilfredWilfred Emmanuel-Jones is the only black farmer in Britain. From an impoverished background first in Jamaica and then in Birmingham he became a producer/director of food programmes. His real ambition was to own and farm a piece of British countryside. He now sells his own 'Black Farmer; brand of sausages and meats and is proposing opening a chain of restaurants featuring his produce. He is the Tory PPC for Chippenham for the next election and has already had one C4 documentary under his belt featuring his bursary for underprivileged black kids (Young Black Farmers) and another C4 series to be screened next year. His farm is in Devon.
