Autoren-Porträt von Christopher Perrins
Christopher Perrins is a distinguished ornithologist and the author of many academic studies and popular books on birds. He was Professor of Ornithology at the University of Oxford from 1992 to 22, Director of the Edward Grey Institute of Field Ornithology from 1974 to 22, and he has been a visiting lecturer at universities in Canada and Australia. A fellow of Wolfson College, Oxford, Christopher Perrins is renowned for his work on bird population ecology, and in particular, his studies of reproductive rates. In recognition of his achievements, he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1997.
