This book invites to interpret Karl Popper under the light of his ethical attitudes. In the first part a previously unpublished text by Popper is reproduced and commented which is most relevant to acquire a new insight on Popper's philosophy and should be taken into account in any future interpretation of it. In the second part, under the light of the new insight, the ethical roots of Popper's theory of knowledge are analysed, jointly with the meaning and reach of his fallibilism.

Pressezitat
"This book is an extraordinary document. It will invite many people to re-evaluate their interpretation of Popper's philosophy. Artigas convincingly demonstrates that Popper's faith in reason is the metaphysical foundation of his entire philosophy." (Gabriel Zanotti, Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires)"In this book Professor Mariano Artigas dissects with a surgeon's precision previously unpublished comments made by Karl Popper at a seminar in Japan. Artigas is a master of textual exegesis and this book allows us to gain a better understanding of the entire rationalist debate from an ethical perspective." (Ivan Slade, Former Research Assistant to Sir Karl Popper, Lancaster University, England)
