The Author: William E. Matsen is an instructor and Coordinator of the Department of English at North Hennepin Community College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Dakota and has taught at Bemidji State University, Bemidji, Minnesota, and at Kentucky State University, Frankfort, Kentucky.
