This research centres on the growing education migration industry in the Netherlands, that seeks to attract certain Non-EU students with the required capital and skills to study in the Netherlands. Due to the increasing number of Non-EU students and their direct cost-benefit relationship to the Netherlands and host universities, a substantial effort and dedication to attracting these students have emerged, where most Dutch universities are concerned about the attractiveness of their university systems to international students and increase the recognition of their degrees abroad. To create and sustain the complexity of international student mobility, education agents and university international officers are required to bridge the gap between a solely profit-oriented education industry and the social lives of international students and their families. Furthermore, this study revealed the impact of the institutional practices at the universities that are shaped by the Dutch immigration policies, have a negative effect on the wellbeing of international students(Non-EU), who are constrained by these restrictive migration policies in the Netherlands.
