On the other hand, they leave their mark wherever they go, and you think you can spot them almost everywhere. Yet, they are not there.

Beroalde de Verville (1556 - 1626 ?) was a French scientifist, poet and novelist. His most famous work is "Le Moyen de Parvenir",at first published 1610. The "Moyen de Parvenir" (MdP) is a parody, in which famous persons like Pythagoras or Leone Ebreo and Paracelsus have a diskussion about love and other philosophical problems. The MdP is chaotic, baroque and obscene.
