Schools, if judged only by the passed decade as marred by violent tragedies, appear most appropriate for new and innovative intercessions. Martial arts, specifically the traditions of Judo, offer a timeless solution to a timely issue. This work, using a mixed methods approach, empirically demonstrates how martial arts practice positively impacts youth when conducted in the school environment.
