Spontaneous supratentorial intracerebral haemorrhage (SICH) has a high morbidity and mortality and places a high significant economic burden on healthcare and social services. The role of surgery is still controversial evidenced by wide international variation in its management. The masterpiece is to evaluate and assess the efficacy of stereotactic guided evacuation compared to routine medical management of spontaneous supratentorial intracerebral haematoma. Traumatic brain injury is a prominent and leading cause of premature mortality and disability. The resultant inflammation and brain oedema secondary to the injury are considered as the main cause of damage to neurons and supporting cells leading to cerebral hypo perfusion and hypoxia. Corticosteroids were widely used in the clinical management of traumatic brain injury, but their benefit has been challenged in so many studies and their efficacy but their use in traumatic brain injury remains unclear.
