Urological Pathology

The field of urological pathology encompasses 3 of the top 10 commonly occurring cancers (prostate, bladder, and kidney). Knowledge in these areas is growing at an explosive pace. Urological pathology is one of the four high volume subspecialties, the others being dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology and gynecological pathology. Urological pathology covers a wide spectrum of medical conditions, tumor-like diseases and the true neoplastic processes. This book will be comprehensive and cover elements from etiology to management, but will principally focus on the diagnostic criteria, differential diagnoses, pitfalls and ancillary diagnostic tests (markers, molecular) required to provide contemporary diagnosis.
