As early as 18th century, physiologist realized this fact and initiated research uncovering these wastage of female gametes thus evolved in I.V.M.F.C and cloning. In case of goat, higher number of embryos could be produced by superovulation. Continuous supply of oocyte could overcome through cryopreservation of oocytes. Concerned to various freezing techniques for the cryopreservation of oocytes, vitrification technique is simple, less costly and less time consuming. This book will give a suitable time for vitrification during oocyte maturation and evaluate the vitrification protocol by subsequent I.V.F.in goat.

Sundara Vinayaki, M.Dr. M. Sundara Vinayaki has obtained her bachelor degree from Madras Vetrinary College, Chennai and masters in Veterinary Physiology at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, UP. She has vast experience as Veterinary Surgeon in the Animal Husbandry Department. Currently she is a faculty of Veterinary Physiology in VC & RI, Tirunelveli, India.
