Neale D. Walsch arbeitete als Journalist und Verleger, war Programmdirektor eines Rundfunksenders, Pressesprecher und gründete eine erfolgreiche Werbe- und Marketingfirma. In einer schweren Krise richtete er seine Stimme an Gott. Dadurch erfuhr sein Leben eine entscheidende Wendung. Was er als Ende seines Lebens empfunden hatte, erwies sich als spiritueller Neuanfang. Anschauliches Zeugnis dieser geistigen Öffnung sind die 'Gespräche mit Gott'. Heute widmet sich Walsch ganz der Aufgabe, die Botschaften seiner Bücher durch Publikationen, Vorträge und Retreats für spirituelle Erneuerung zu verbreiten. Er gründete die 'School of the New Spirituality' und rief die 'Group of 1000' ins Leben, eine nicht auf Profit ausgerichtete Organisation, die weltweit spirituelles Erwachen vorantreibt. Walsch lebt in Ashland, Oregon.
