The increasing human population, environmental pollution and industrialization along with diminishing fossil fuels are the major problems for future generations. To achieve improvements in electrochemical performance of supercapacitors by using better electrode materials along with low-cost and environment compatibility production requires deep understanding of energy storage mechanism, electron and ion transport pathways and electrochemically active sites of active electrode material. The present study covers the synthesis of WO3, MnO2 and WO3-MnO2 composite thin films by simple, convenient, binder-free, additive-less and costeffective hydrothermal method.

Shinde, PragatiDr. Pragati A. Shinde is currently working as a Postdoctoral researcher at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Yonsei University, South Korea. Dr. Pragati received her Ph.D. from the Shivaji University, Kolhapur India, in 2018 in Physics. Her current research includes the synthesis and characterization of hybrid nanomaterials for supercapacitors.
