Mark Whitwell lebt in den USA und in Neuseeland. Mark hat sein Leben damit verbracht, die verschiedenen Yoga-Traditionen zu studieren, um sie lebendig und nützlich zu machen. Er lehrt überall auf der Welt und ist dabei die innere Verpflichtung eingegangen, die Praktiken und das Wissen weiterzugeben, das in den Traditionen bisher verborgen gehalten oder von Akademikern künstlich kompliziert gemacht wurde. Sein Hauptinteresse gilt dem Aufzeigen der Möglichkeit, wie jeder Einzelne sich ein authentisches Yoga erschließen kann, das für ihn bedeutsam, klärend und kraftvoll ist und sich gleichzeitig natürlich und nicht zwanghaft in seinen Lebensstil und seine Möglichkeiten zum Üben einfügt.
