Susi Gott Séguret was born and raised in the woods of the Appalachian Mountains, in Western North Carolina. During her 20-year trek around Europe spent honing her culinary expertise, Susi remained connected to nature, hunting mushrooms in the forêt d'Orleans and bouldering in the forêt de Fontainebleau. Today, Susi leads foraging expeditions in the Blue Ridge and teaches others how to blend the elegance of French cuisine with the simplicity of mountain ingredients.
