Ian D. Armour is Professor of History at Grant MacEwan College, Canada. He has previously held posts as a Lecturer at SSEES, University of London, and Senior Lecturer at Staffordshire University. His other publications include Imperial Germany 1890-1918 (Longman, 1991) and Apple of Discord: Hungarian Influence on Austro-Hungarian Policy towards Serbia 1867-1881 (forthcoming).Ian D. Armour is Honorary Fellow at the University of Exeter, UK.
