Even the most devoted husbands and wives can find themselves feeling like their marriage is not what they want (from/as a spouse)-especially as life becomes complicated by obligations to children, jobs and extended families. The result can be loneliness and frustration for both spouses with neither one feeling supported or understood. Unfortunately, that leaves thousands of decent, loving people unhappy in their marriages. But research has shown that happiness is mostly a factor of how much you feel in control of your own life.
