Once you have it you will use it for a long time.. The beginning of the book covers some forms of addictions, including poker machines, and can be used by anyone who is addicted. The book dismisses the addiction myth, that you should not be addicted. There are healthy addictions which you should try to master, and unhealthy addictions which you should try not to have. There is also a purpose in addictions and that is to have more, to be more and to do more. Mastering addiction is the first step in dealing with addictions, but there is more to it than that. The idea of the purpose of living, the reason you are here is discussed. And, if you are less than fifty years of age you should try to do more than mastering your addictions. I hope you will enjoy the book and that it will make a difference in your life and in the life of the people you surround yourself with.

Having experienced at first hand the devastating power of poker machines in venues,and visiting psychologists, counseling and support groups and seeing the damage on families and their properties and lives, the author tries to write a book which can help people who are addicted as much as possible. Particular addiction is playing poker machines.. This is not the first book on addictions and not the last either. The author tries to cover as much as possible the reasons for addictions. He also dispels the myth of addictions ,whether we should see the addictions as a health issues, whether there are healthy and unhealthy addictions. The author is an authority in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which helped in dealing with addictions from the personal development point of view. He criticises the Government for not doing enough in the area of poker machines. Poker machines has had a devastating effect on social strata here in Australia. Being a refugee from eastern Europe he migrated to Australia a long time ago. He is a gentlemen who cares about everything, in particular poker machines. The book can be used by anyone who is dependent, anyone who is addicted.
