It was often miss-diagnosed as MS, Parkinson’s and even schizophrenia; but it is a degenerative neurological disorder that effects movement, emotions and personality. There is no known cure. Worse still it runs in families and can tear them apart.With no established medical treatment for HD [besides anti-depressants] we have searched for ways to reduce the impact on Ashlyn and we can see some very real benefits, even some improvements have been noted by her neurologist and they give us hope for the future and point out directions for others to explore.”
