Author Ranell Murphy and her husband Dennis have the privilege of helping the real Santa Claus by dressing up as Mr. & Mrs. Claus during the holiday season. She started writing about her travels to the North Pole to help children understand that life at the North Pole has many similarities to their own life. This experience and her love for her granddaughter Annabelle inspired her to write the Story Annabelle's Santa. When they are not helping Santa and the elves during Christmas time, they reside in Michigan with their two dogs Maggie May and Mickey. Ranell is working on her third book in the series Mrs. Claus's Kitchen.
