She joins dozens of other Anyran refugees that have fled the Totem and her Temple to form a Village in the forest. Still recovering from losing her home and the man she thought she would marry, Adelaide finds new friends and the promise of another civilization far from Anyra. This could mean freedom for Adelaide and the other Anyrans if this enticing place truly exists.

As Adelaide and the refugees unravel the mystery of the Totem and the magic holding Anyra captive, the fires of rebellion spread throughout the people with Adelaide at the center. The clock is winding down as the High Priestess grows more desperate to find Adelaide so that she may be sacrificed in order to keep the Totem at bay. Adelaide must now face a harrowing choice. Will she flee as far as she can as she is pursued by Sebastian and the followers of the Totem, or will she return to free Anyra at the cost of her own life?
