I was born into a wonderful family who practised no religion but had fine spiritual values. Although I never went to church, from early childhood, whenever I heard the name of Jesus, something in my heart leapt; I had, deep within my being, a great love for Jesus Christ and a great desire to learn of Him and His teachings.



In my early teens my grandmother gave me my first Bible and it seemed to me to be such a Holy and Precious thing. I had 'inner sight' as a child but in my early 20's I began to 'see' and 'hear' more clearly into the realms 'above'; my love for the Lord grew even stronger and I began searching and praying for much deeper understanding of the Scriptures.



I spent many hours in meditation and prayer and then one day a stranger knocked at my door, handed me a book and said: "This is for you". Its title was 'Beyond the Himalayas' and its author Dr Murdo MacDonald-Bayne. Here my life changed forever as I now withdrew from the world at large to seek the inner life, to begin to unfold the mysteries of Truth. For many years I watched no television and the only radio I heard was on a classical music station.



Before my withdrawal from the world I had been inspired to teach myself to paint; little did I know where this was leading. My painting also sustained me during my years lost to the outer world.



In the early 1980's, during my reclusive years, an Illumined Being appeared and communicated with me during a meditation; I had at this time no knowledge of the Ascended Masters, only Jesus. I was overwhelmed by the presence of Love and my heart pounded. He was so radiant and breath-taking to look at and from His smiling eyes flowed the Love and Compassion of the Universe. He told me things that were to happen in the next short while and when He left I felt compelled to paint His portrait. Shortly after another appeared and then another; at times I was working on more than one at a time.



So began my remarkable journey.
