Badger accepts and enjoys a banquet of sprats but subsequently Crab fails to turn up for a repeat meal, leaving Badger very hungry.Crab later overhears a conversation between two Moonfaces inferring that there will be a night time raid on a nearby badger sett. Crab's conscience now pricks him and he sets off into unknown territory to warn Badger that he is in danger. But will he succeed?The book features a range of other characters including Fox, Grey Squirrel, Tawny Owl and Mrs Badger. It will appeal to children 7-9 years, and parents who may well be reading it!

Catherine Trimby is retired and lives in rural Shropshire with her husband. She spent five years at boarding school in Surrey and then trained in production at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She worked for several years in repertory theatre before joining the BBC Television Drama Department, where she worked on the first series of 'Dr Who' and 'The Forsyte Saga'. She has previously written three novels, including Josie: A Journey of Self Discovery.
