He has over 44 years of experience, including 15 years in the Indian Air Force, 1.2 years in the industry, and 28.2 years in teaching. He has authored 2 books, 11 book chapters, and 2 edited books, and was editor of the proceedings for many international conferences and granted patents. He has guided many scholars of PhD, MTech, and undergraduates. His area of research is additive manufacturing. He has been granted many funded projects and completed several industrial consultancies. He is also an executive member of many professional societies. He is a technical expert member of many government bodies and universities.

Premanand S. Chauhan works as a director at Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology, Indore. He has 7 years of industry experience and 20 years of teaching experience. He has authored 2 books, 55 research articles, and has published three patents and one patent granted. He is the editor of the proceedings of many reputed international conferences. He is the recipient of the Exemplary Academic Administrators of Higher Education Institutes across India in 2019 conferred by the Academic Council of uLektz and Director of the Year 2022 awarded by the Universal Mentors Association, India.
