Marinda and Tai have extraordinary minds even amongst the percepts who have evolved from an autistic ancestry.

BUT they each have a hidden side the other knows nothing about. They are powerfully drawn to each other. Marinda is aware that annihilation is on Tai's mind for her but he does not realise that it is Marinda he has been set up to destroy.

Marinda becomes aware that Tai's strong mind has been bound in some way and is determined to free him, but in doing so faces the promise of death from those who bind him.

The resolution of the extreme conflict will drive this novel to its sequels.
