Produktinformationen zu „Introduction to non-Kerr Law Optical Solitons (PDF)“
This book is the first dedicated to optical soliton propagation in media with non-Kerr law nonlinearities. After establishing a foundation in optical communication and the nonlinear Schrdinger equation, the authors examine various properties of non-Kerr law solitons in detail. They construct soliton dynamics, evaluate the integral of motion, and develop the adiabatic dynamics of soliton parameters for the power law, dual power law, parabolic law, and saturable law nonlinearities. Later chapters discuss intra-channel collisions, optical couplers, and optical bullets. Establishing a basis in an important yet insufficiently documented subject, this book will help fuel advances in optical communication systems.
