As someone who has personally gone through cheating, the author can bear testimony to the fact that cheating breaks the trust and it's not easy to trust again once you are cheated on, until God comes into the mix and fixes the brokenness in the relationship.

The moment we start treating cheating as exactly that and not just some silly mistake that was made at the spur of the moment, is when we are going to solve this in a mature manner. We must also know that according to God, we only have one woman or man to love to the best of our abilities so let's not blow this chance and lose the love of our lives for just one silly, stupid moment.

In our endeavour to come to terms with cheating, we shouldn't forget to let God guide our ways. That way we are guaranteed complete and lasting victory. Our marriages will never be shaken, not when God has anything to do with it.
