Begin reading anything I could get my hands on at age 10.Begin writing short stories soon thereafter and have read literally hundreds of children's books to my multitude of children, grandchildren and Great grandchildren and many of their friends and parents.
So finally after 60 years I decided that I should get something published and made a story about our favorite way ( all the people that I have taken with me over the years to show them the chuckwalla which very few have ever heard of much less seen ), to be checking for chuckwallas and other wildlife and Flora of the Sonoran desert.
At the same time a few words that perhaps children would not know beforehand but are easy to learn and remember and used to enhance one's own ability in speaking and understanding ,are included in the story
